A starting point
Every school and every District is unique. Just as one approach does not work for all students, the same is true for our work with schools and districts. Our scope can be very wide or extremely specific, depending on your needs. Together we can determine what the best starting point is for your organization. Often, we are asked to provide a solid baseline to identify the aspects of an organization that are working well, allowing time and resources to be focused where they are most needed. To do this we use our "4/21 Launchpad to the Future."
This extensive analysis focuses on 4 main aspects consisting of 21 elements and over 150 indicators related to current curriculum, instructional, learning and assessment practices. Data is collected by our team through site visits and in-depth interviews with students, parents, teachers and school and District administrators. In addition, several online surveys are used to collect responses from the entire faculty, student body and parent communities which are then extensively analyzed. We also examine pertinent District documents, records and archival materials.
All this data is collected to develop a comprehensive but simple snapshot of the current status of teaching, learning and assessment in the school or District. This becomes our starting point.
